Installtion by Paul Börchers and Julia Hamilton.

The installation is a combination of projected film, a 3-dimensional structure, constructed by Julia Hamilton from iron wire, which branches out into the exhibition space, and ink drawings by Paul Börchers. Börchers depicts people with long hair, drawn directly on Hamilton's sculpture and on the surrounding walls. Concentrated and expanding from the areas where the iron wire-structure touches the walls, the drawn figures seem to be created by the structure itself.
Paul Börchers
Visual artist and illustrator from Den Haag. Studied Graphic Design in Den Haag (MBO) and Illustration at Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam. Börchers is a member of the dutch art collective Antistrot and makes music under the name YobKiss. Börchers work ranges from drawing, actions and performances, music and film/video-works. His illustrations have been published in various magazines

Julia Hamilton
British artist Julia Hamilton lives in Den Haag, the Netherlands. She studied Fine Arts at Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam, and Typography and Graphic Design at Royal Art Academy, The Hague. She works on installtions, sculptures and film.
