"Certain themes circulate like viruses through ax710. The brain as matter and it's relation towards the why of art and society form the main portal to an almost subversive and ecstatic world. This is how ax710 intervenes in the structures of an art that determines the systems in this age of fast and radical changes."
ax710
is a dutch artist, based in Amsterdam and Groningen. He co-organizes the project space NP3 in Groningen. Together with Rob van de Werdt he recently founded Clup Ivoor (members only) at PAKT in Amsterdam.

The installation of ax710 at General Public is part of a series of activities organizes by the Amsterdam based project space PAKT. Further works by PAKT artists can be seen at CAPRI (Krijn de Koning und Gertjan Kockens), at Galerie Lifebomb (AIM) and at the Berliner Kunstsalon.
P/////AKT
PAKT communicates itself to the public as a single platform for independent contemporary art, but actually consists of three separate initiatives that organise their projects inside and outside their home base in Amsterdam. PAKT has chosen the Berliner Kunstsalon as it’s temporary nerve centre, with simultaneous exhibitions on other locations.
By doing so PAKT is transferring it’s modus operandi to the city of Berlin. The exhibition at Kunstsalon thus reflects the general situation at PAKT project space; a coherent presentation with contributions by each separate initiative. “ One artist” initiative ax710 is bringing everything together with his over all design of the booth, also meant to actually mirror PAKT’s own exhibitions space in Amsterdam.
