| Beasts of Burden |
A group exhibition curated by the members of the General Public

Beasts of Burden will bring together artwork, art and craft. For the exhibition each contribution will have been inherited by it’s present owner for whom it holds an emotional value, wether this be sentimental or a burden, that makes it hard to separate from regardless of what it is and effecting its value beyond a materialistic attachment.
The contributions are not necessarily works of art or even particularily interesting, but their former owner might have thought so in the first place. The concept of the exhibtion could also be that through sentimental attachment to the former owner, the present owner may have somehow inherited their idea of art and value as well. It can be anything, a painting, diary, sculpture, a uniform, a glass, a candle-holder, a film....
Die Ausstellung findet nicht jetzt statt weil Weihnachten ist, aber bestimmt auch deshalb. // The exhibition does not happen now because of Christmas, albeit thence for sure.
