During this two-days workshop, you will learn the basics of the Video Mapping technique. The workshop will provide an introduction to the Modul8 software, as well as the basics of MadMapper, combining the theory with assisted practical sessions.
At the end of the workshop, on Sunday 24th from 20hs on, all participants will have the possibility to present an installation (individually or collectively) at General Public.
IMPORTANT > We will provide free licences to use Modul8 and MadMapper for 30 days after the workshop. All participants are eligible for purchasing both softwares at a discounted price.
The Video Mapping Workshop will be led by the VJ and Video Mapping professional Jaime Ramirez and supported by the curator Vanina Saracino.

Technical overview of basic requirements (resolutions, cables)
Modul8, a dynamic live visuals software (syphon integration)
MadMapper, the easy-mapping tool
How to map a video on a simple geometrical shape using MadMapper and Modul8
How to create a mask to map the video on a more complex shape
Practice session.
2nd Day // 24th of March
Brief of the activities of the previous day
Creation of the Video Mapping installation and elaboration of the contents for it
